Kosciusko
Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
8:21 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, CR 1300N and CR 300E, Syracuse. Drivers: Sarah E. Story, 34, CR 22, Elkhart; Mark D. Hubbs, 56, South Dixie Drive, North Webster. Story told police she was driving her vehicle northbound on CR 300E and was stopped at an intersection. She said she did not see the vehicle driven by Hubbs and pulled into the path of his vehicle, causing the collision. Hubbs was transported by helicopter to South Bend Memorial Hospital with a laceration to the head and a broken arm. Damage up to $10,000.
6:40 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, North CR 300E, north of East CR 200N, Warsaw. Driver: Robert A. Read, 60, EMS C15 Lane, Warsaw. Read told police he was driving his vehicle southbound on CR 300E when a deer entered the roadway. He told police he was unable to avoid hitting the deer with his vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
5:52 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, East US 30 and South CR 325E, Warsaw. Drivers: Brenda D. Irvine, 67, South CR 325E, Warsaw; Thomas R. Paterson, 56, Fremont Street, Argos. Irvine told police she was driving her vehicle on CR 325E, stopped in the median to prepare a turn onto US 30 eastbound when she oversteered and struck the trailer hitch of the vehicle driven by Paterson. Damage up to $2,500.
5:50 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, North CR 300E, north of East Old Road 30, Warsaw. Driver: Ashley B. Cooper, 38, Wedrick Drive, Warsaw. Cooper told police she was driving her vehicle southbound on CR 300E when she saw a deer pass in front of her vehicle. She said she stopped her vehicle in the roadway, but that another deer ran into her stopped vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
12:03 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, Market Street, east of Indiana Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Joshua Q. Howard, 36, South Washington Street, Warsaw; Brenda Prater, 53, South Hunters Ridge, Warsaw. Prater told police she was driving her vehicle out of a parking lot when her vehicle was sideswiped by the vehicle driven by Howard. Damage up to $5,000.
