Kosciusko
Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
4:44 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, West CR 600N, east of North CR 150W, Leesburg. Drivers: Morgan R. Hepler, 24, West Lovetts Lane, Warsaw; Benjamin L. Adams, 33, North CR 450W, Warsaw. Police said both vehicles were traveling eastbound on CR 600N when Hepler attempted to pass the vehicle driven by Adams, lost control of her vehicle and collided with Adams’ vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
3:57 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, North SR 19, north of West CR 750N, Etna Green. Driver: Joshua A. Schafer, 27, Kenilworth Road, Argos. Schafer told police he was driving his vehicle northbound on SR 19 when a horse entered the roadway. He told police he was unable to avoid hitting the horse with his vehicle. Damage up to $50,000.
2:03 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, South CR 750W, Claypool. Driver: David H. Teel, 73, West Bensart Drive, Claypool. Teel police he was driving his vehicle northbound on CR 750W when his vehicle hit a slick spot, causing him to lose control and for his vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a mail box. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:31 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, Parker Street, south of Dubois Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Charles Maull, 77, North Rebecca Street, Claypool; Mark L. Pherigo, 51, East CR 500S, Pierceton. Maull said he was driving his vehicle north on Parker Street and began to turn left, turning into the path of the vehicle driven by Pherigo. Damage up to $5,000.
