Teen Book Club To Meet At Milford Public Library
MILFORD — The Milford Public Library has announced upcoming activities.
Teen Book Club
Teens in grades 6 through 12 are invited to Teen Book Club on Dec. 8 at 1 p.m. to discuss the book, “Long Way Down,” by Jason Reynolds. This story takes place in sixty seconds, in the time it takes a kid to decide whether or not he’s going to murder the guy who killed his brother. Will the kid do it? To help choose what the club reads each month, interested patrons can join the Teen Book Club. For more information, call (574) 658-4312 or email [email protected].
Lego Crew
Teens and children older than six years old are invited to meet with the Lego Crew on Dec. 8 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The club meets the second Saturday of each month from September to May.
Lego Crew is a fun, relaxed way to play with hundreds of Legos. Lego Crew is the perfect way to let children use their imagination, and improve their engineering skills. All the Legos are provided and there is plenty for everyone to share.
No registration or library card is needed. Children younger than six years old need to be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call (574) 658-4312.
Friends Of The Library
The Friends of the Library will meet on Tuesday, December 4 at 1 p.m. If you’re interested in joining the Friends of the Library, call 658-4312 for more information.
Knitting Club
Join the members of the Knitting Club on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. to work on that Christmas project, crochet a blanket for the cold weather, or complete your existing project. New members always welcome. The members will teach anyone interested how to knit and crochet. No library card or registration needed.
