What is NaNoWriMo? National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo, is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing. On Nov. 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30. Valuing enthusiasm, determination, and a deadline, NaNoWriMo is for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel. If you’d like to register to sign up, go to the NaNoWriMo website, and it’ll walk you through it. You don’t have to register to take part. The goal is to have fun and write. The librarians here at Bell Memorial Public Library would love to hear about your book or story ideas.
Have you heard of Hoopla? Hoopla is a digital media service that allows you to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, eBooks, comics and television shows to enjoy on a computer, tablet, or phone. With no waiting, titles can be streamed immediately or downloaded to phones or tables for offline enjoyment later; titles cannot be downloaded to computers. Come see any staff member at Bell Memorial Public Library for information on how to get started.
Do you love fitness? If so, please join the library every Wednesday evening for Zumba and yoga. Zumba begins at 5:30 p.m. and yoga begins at 6:45 p.m. For more information, please contact Eva Mudd at (574) 253-5593 or [email protected].
