Warsaw Man Faces Drug Felonies After Incident At Economy Inn
WARSAW — A Warsaw man is facing drug felonies after police were called to investigate an incident at the Economy Inn.
Carlos Alejandro Garcia, 41, Warsaw, is being charged with possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony, and possession of a syringe, a level 6 felony.
On Nov. 19, an officer with the Warsaw Police Department responded to a call in regards to a person being confined at the Economy Inn. He arrived on scene and was flagged down by a male and female, who both appeared excited and fidgety. The two told the officer that Garcia had held them in their room against their will.
The officer located Garcia and spoke with him. While speaking with him, the officer located two needles and a plastic bag of methamphetamine. He also observed needle marks on Garcia’s forearm. Garcia admitted to being in the female and male’s room. The officer observed that the door between the two rooms was locked on Garcia’s side but unlocked on the female and male’s side.
Garcia was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Nov. 19, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
