Titus Funeral Home Staff To Hold Holiday Remembrance Service
WARSAW — The staff of Titus Funeral Home is preparing for their third annual holiday remembrance service. The event, held by the funeral home each year on the first Saturday of December, serves as a time for those who have lost a loved one or loved ones to gather in their memory.
This year’s remembrance service will feature Pastor Glenn Hall of Harvest Community Church, Pierceton. Pastor Glenn will lead those in attendance through music and thoughtful, reflective words. There will also be several local vocalists and musicians showcased as part of the event.
“For those who have lost a loved one, the holidays can be difficult. For those grieving, what used to be a joyous, festive and happy time may now be extremely trying,” said Cory Benz, owner and funeral director of Titus Funeral Home. “We welcome you to join us for this special, thoughtful service of remembrance. No matter which local funeral home may have served your family, all who grieve are invited to attend.”
Each year the funeral home’s service is centered around a unique theme, with last year’s theme being “The Colors of Christmas.” Families in attendance will receive a memorial ornament which matches the year’s theme. Light refreshments will be available in the Titus community room following the service.
Although the event is free, a reservation is required. Please call Titus Funeral Home at (574) 267-3104 to reserve your seat(s) and to record whom your family will be remembering this holiday season.
