Latasha Sue Ibarra, 26, 3457 W. CR 100S, Warsaw, is being charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a narcotic drug, both level 6 felonies.
According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, officers responded to a report of a drug overdose at a rural Warsaw address on Oct. 27. When police arrived they found Ibarra, her father and Quincy Jenkins in the residence.
Officers reported that Ibarra was in one of the bedrooms and was snoring while her face was turning blue. According to the police report, Narcan was administered and she regained consciousness.
Police said the Ibarra admitted taking heroin earlier in the day.
While in the bedroom, officers reported seeing a clear plastic bag containing a white powder residue, which tested positive for methamphetamine, several small plastic bags and a gray electronic scale. Officers reported also seeing, in plain sight, several small blue baggies and one silver spoon with residue that tested positive for heroin.
Police reported interviewing Jenkins and said he lost consciousness several times during the interview. Police reported that Jenkins appeared intoxicated. Officers said Jenkins attempted to put on a hooded sweatshirt and in the process, a syringe fell out of his pocket and onto the floor.
Ibarra was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Nov. 11, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
