Questa Scholars Program Opening Early For Early Admits
FORT WAYNE — Questa Education Foundation is announcing an earlier application for high school seniors that are accepted early into Questa’s partnering institutions, or for college freshman currently enrolled.
The application will open on Nov. 15, 2018, and remain open until Feb. 1, 2019. Questa’s partner schools include Grace College, Huntington University, Purdue Fort Wayne, IU Fort Wayne, Indiana Tech, Ivy Tech, Manchester University, Trine University and the University of Saint Francis. This will allow students to secure funding earlier as they make their decisions on their college of choice. A second application period for individuals attending any Indiana college or university will be available on Feb. 15, 2019, through April 1, 2019.
Why should students apply for the Questa Program? If a student attends and graduates from one of Questa’s partnering schools, that student will receive a 25 percent reduction on their Questa loan. In addition, if that student lives and works in one of the 11 counties in Northeast Indiana five years after they graduate, they will receive an additional 50 percent forgiveness on their loan. Overall, a student may receive 75 percent forgiveness on their Questa loan, and graduate with less debt.
