Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
5:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, North SR 15, south of West CR 1000N, Milford. Drivers: Skyler A. Cone, 30, North Warsaw Oswego Road, Warsaw; and C.N. Spencer, 37, North Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Cone was traveling north on SR 15 when he rear-ended Spencer’s vehicle. Spencer said there were about six vehicles in front of him when Cone’s vehicle rear-ended him. Damage up to $10,000.
6:17 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, South CR 500E, south of East CR 450S, Warsaw. Driver: Jacqueline L. Snider, 55, Heather Court, Warsaw. Snider was traveling south on CR 500E when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
8:57 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, West CR 1000S, east of South SR 19, Warsaw. Driver: Kendra R. Hester, 34, North SR 14, Akron. Hester was traveling east on CR 1000S when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.
3:41 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, South SR 15, north of West CR 600S, Claypool. Driver: Fernando Malagon, 26, Crescent Drive, Warsaw. Malagon was traveling north on South SR 15 when he said he fell asleep at the wheel and ran off the roadway, rolling his vehicle as a result. Malagon complained of back pain but repeatedly denied any medical care at the scene. Damage up to $10,000.
12:26 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, East US 30, near South CR 450E, Pierceton. Driver: Beth A. Stockdale, 49, North CR 175E, Warsaw. Stockdale was traveling west on US 30 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
7:38 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, South SR 25, near South CR 600W, Warsaw. Driver: Larry M. Oaks, 58, North West Street, Burket. Oaks was traveling west on South SR 25 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $1,000.
3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, North CR 450E, south of East CR 1200N, Syracuse. Drivers: Timothy M. Lemberg, 46, North CR 400E, Syracuse; and Jordan R. Edwards, 28, North Albion Street, Wawaka. Lemberg was traveling north on CR 450E when he noticed that Edwards’ vehicle was stopping at different mailboxes. As he attempted to go around Edwards’ vehicle, Lemberg’s vehicle struck the driver’s side rear of Edwards’ vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
4:43 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, East McClintic Road, near East Hatchery Road, Syracuse. Driver: Kaylee H. Partlow, 30, Bashor Road, Goshen. Partlow was traveling north on Hatchery Road when a black Wrangler jeep was attempting to turn from McClintic Road onto Hatchery Road. The jeep driver was traveling too fast to negotiate the curve and crashed into Partlow’s vehicle. The driver of the jeep left the scene. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
2:02 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2501 Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Driver: Ysabel Lozano, 69, North Colfax Street, Warsaw; and Ashley R. Comer, 28, East May Lane, Leesburg. Both Lozano and Comer’s vehicles were backing out of parking spots when Lozano struck Comer’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
1:47 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, CR 250N, east of SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Macie A. Stuckman, 18, North Hoss Hill Road, North Webster; and Marissa Rico, 24, South CR 350E, Warsaw. Stuckman was traveling west on CR 250N when her vehicle rear-ended Rico’s. Damage up to $5,000.
9:14 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, East US 30, east of East Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Dominic J. Albano, 16, North Williamson Drive, Warsaw. Albano was traveling westbound on Lake City Highway when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $10,000.
3:14 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, East Winona Avenue, near South Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: unknown; and Jacelyn G. Ellinger, 17, East Portside Drive, Warsaw. Ellinger was traveling eastbound on Winona Avenue and was stopped for traffic when a small, white pick-up truck rear-ended her vehicle. The pick-up truck failed to remain at the scene. Damage up to $5,000.
