Kosciusko
Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
3:21 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, East US 30, east of Arnolt Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Kaitlyn M. Gambill, 23, Tippecanoe Drive, Warsaw; Adriana R. Hernandez, 26, South CR 325E, Warsaw; Paul D. Hodge, 53, West CR 200N, Columbia City. Gambill told police that a sport utility vehicle was traveling southbound from East Van Ness Road and crossed the left lane of US 30 and stopped to turn eastbound in the middle of the lanes. Gambill told police the vehicle attempted to turn eastbound and pulled out in front of her vehicle. She said her vehicle was forced into Hernandez’s vehicle. Gambill said that after the SUV hit her vehicle, it was forced into Hodge’s vehicle and then continued into the ditch. The SUV then came back onto the roadway and continued eastbound on US 30. The vehicle was last seen northbound on SR 13. Hernandez complained of head pain and was transported by EMS to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damage up to $25,000.
Warsaw
Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
10:20 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, SR 15, north of US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Lee A. Lingofelter, 69, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw; Kathryn C. Lloyd, 70, Pope Street, Winona Lake. Lingofelter told police he was driving his vehicle in the right lane of SR 15, approaching the US 30 off ramp. He said he looked down at his speedometer and when he looked back up, the light had turned red and he was already traveling into the intersection, causing his vehicle to collide with Lloyd’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
3:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, East Market Street and North SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Jeffery L. Lecount, 61, Heatherstone Place, Carmel; David T. Williams, 55, South McClellan Street, Warsaw. Williams told police he was driving his vehicle eastbound on East Market Street and was at the intersection with SR 15, intending to turn left when the vehicle driven by Lecount rolled backward into his vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
10:29 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, CR 250E, north of Corridor Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Elizabeth M. Brown, 20, South Packerton Road, Winona Lake; Hariharan Narasimhan, 39, South Finley Road, Lombard, Ill. Brown told police she was driving her vehicle southbound on CR 250E behind the vehicle driven by Narasimhan when the vehicle in front of her slowed down, began to move forward again, then suddenly stopped. She said she was unable to stop her vehicle in time to avoid a rear-end collision. Damage up to $2,500.
10:03 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, West Winona Avenue, east of Austin Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Foster M. Dutton, 45, Fox Farm Road, Warsaw; Gillian S. Rabb, EMS T31 Lane, Leesburg. Rabb told police she was driving her vehicle eastbound on West Winona Avenue and as she was passing the vehicle and trailer driven by Dutton, a piece of metal flew off the trailer and struck her vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
