Knitting Club
Learn how to knit or crochet with members of the Knitting Club from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15. It’s the perfect time of year to create scarves, hats, gloves, and blankets. No library card or registration is needed.
Food Pantry
During the month of November, the library will be collecting donations for Food Pantry. The following items are always needed at the food pantry: liquid laundry soap, dish soap, Pine Sol type cleaner, disinfecting wipes, Windex, paper towels, toilet paper, bar soap, shampoo, men’s and women’s deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes. Blankets are also needed at this time. There will be a box in the adult department and one in the children’s department. All items donated to the library in November will be delivered to Food Pantry on Dec. 3. Thank you for your donations.
Story Time
Children ages three to six will create turkey puppets and enjoy Thanksgiving stories on Wednesday, Nov. 14, and Thursday, Nov. 15. Children are invited to bring a snack to share with everyone.
The main goal of Story Time is to encourage a love of learning, books, and the library in children ages three to six. The library staff wants the library to be a safe and welcoming place for children, and so Story Time is full of fun activities.
Sessions are available at 10:15 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays or at 7 p.m. Thursdays. No library card is needed. Register now by calling (574) 658-4312 or e-mailing [email protected].
