What is NaNoWriMo? National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo, is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing. On Nov. 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30. Valuing enthusiasm, determination, and a deadline, NaNoWriMo is for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel. If you’d like to register to sign up go to the NaNoWriMo website and it’ll walk you through it. You don’t have to register to take part. The goal is to have fun and write. The librarians here at Bell Memorial Public Library would love to hear about your book or story ideas.
Have you heard of Hoopla? Hoopla is a digital media service that allows you to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, eBooks, comics and television shows to enjoy on a computer, tablet, or phone.
