Juanita M. Alexander — UPDATED
Juanita M. Alexander, 97, Warsaw, passed away at 2:10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, in Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw.
She was born Aug. 7, 1921, to William Austie and Elma Elizabeth (Schooley) Bradbury. She was raised in the Atwood area and was a 1939 Atwood High School graduate. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. She also loved the family reunions each year. She always made the best pies. She also enjoyed eating out, puzzles and word search books. She was retired from Uniroyal Corporation.
She is survived by three children: Linda Harris, Warsaw; Steve (Myra) Alexander, Milford; and Liz Hazlett, Akron, Ohio; six grandchildren: Lori (Mark) Reichle, Fort Wayne; Christine Stump, Warsaw; Melissa Flick and Melanie Neal both of Akron, Ohio; Matt (Tracy) Alexander, Oregon, Ohio; Janelle (Curt) Swihart, Valrico, Fla. One step granddaughter, Amber Thomas, Milford. Ten great grandchildren. Two step great grandsons. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as a special family friend: Edith Rohrer.
Those who preceded Juanita in passing include, her parents, two sons-in-law, Jerry Harris and Don Hazlett, five brothers and eight sisters.
A funeral service will be held at noon, Monday, Nov. 12, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Visitation will be two hours prior to the Funeral from 10 a.m.-noon, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Pastor Denny Bollenbacher will officiate the Funeral Service. Interment will be in Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green.
