Bike Ride To Benefit Family Of Tippecanoe Valley Accident Victims
WARSAW — A charity motorcycle ride to financially support the family of three Mentone elementary students killed last week in a motor vehicle accident, as well as one Tippecanoe Valley Middle School student who was severely injured, will depart the Kosciusko County 4-H Fairgrounds at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10. The fairgrounds are located at 1400 E. Smith St., Warsaw.
Registration for the event will begin at 10:30 a.m. that morning for the ride that will travel from Warsaw to Rochester utilizing SR 25, the same road on which the three siblings, Xzavier and Mason Ingle, both 6, and Alivia Stahl, 9, were struck while attempting to board their school bus on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
After a brief stop in Rochester, the bikes will reverse their course on SR 25 and end their ride at Tippecanoe Valley High School in Akron, where the Mentone Fire Department will be holding a barbecue dinner benefit for the families.
The dinner, which will take place from 5-8 p.m., will be a freewill donation with all monies going toward the funeral, medical and other needs of the two families.
Cost for the motorcycle ride benefit is $20 per bike, plus $5 each for additional passengers. All money raised from the ride will be presented to the Lake City Bank representative who will be present at the dinner and who will be collecting the donations that evening.
Tippecanoe Valley High School is located at 8345 SR 19, Akron. The public is invited and encouraged to attend this important benefit.
