Salvation Army Serves As Clearing House For Christmas Assistance
KOSCIUSKO — In an effort to reduce duplication and stretch resources, The Salvation Army will once again serve as the “Clearing House” for Christmas assistance in Kosciusko County.
Organizations, churches, schools and businesses are encouraged to check who they are assisting with the list The Salvation Army maintains.
“We are able to provide this service through the support of the United Way of Kosciusko County,” noted Ken Locke, community ministries director. “We want to insure that everyone who needs assistance is helped but also remind the public that the Salvation Army, CCS and other ministries are here all year. Avoiding duplication saves precious resources to help with other needs and emergencies.”
Clearing may be done by e-mailing [email protected] or by calling (574) 267-5361.
