WARSAW — The Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory meeting originally scheduled for yesterday, Nov. 6, had to be rescheduled when a quorum wasn’t reached.
With five voting board members, three must be present for the meeting to occur. Only board members Mike Klondaris and Gordon Nash were present. Warsaw Mayor Joseph Thallemer, Shiela Burner, and Joe Streeter were absent.
After realizing a quorum wasn’t met, the board agreed to meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13.
Since no action was needed, Fire Chief Mike Wilson gave a presentation on the rescue efforts of two firefighters during Hurricane Florence. The same presentation was given at the Warsaw Common Council meeting on Oct. 15.
