Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
1:43 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, North SR 15, north of West CR 1350N, Milford. Drivers: Douglas S. Stump, 54, North CR 100E, Warsaw; and Filiberto Rodriguez, 56, North Vicky Lane, Warsaw. Both Stump and Rodriguez were traveling south on SR 15 when Rodriguez’s vehicle stopped in traffic for a lane closure. Stump’s vehicle rear-ended Rodriguez’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
10:31 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, Jalynn Street, west of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Drivers: David C. Edwards, 77, EMS W17 Lane, North Webster; Sue E. Kruger, 72, Rivercrest Drive, Warsaw. Edwards told police he was in his vehicle and attempting to exit the Walmart parking lot when his vehicle struck the vehicle driven by Kruger. He told police he thought his path was clear. Damage up to $25,000.
10:04 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, East US 30, east of North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Robert McKinney, 55, Kenwood Avenue, Fort Wayne; Ross N. Sibery, EMS B42F Lane, Leesburg. McKinney told police he was driving his vehicle westbound on US 30 and swerved to the left as a result of being cut off by a semi, which caused his vehicle to collide with Sibery’s vehicle, which was stopped at an intersection in the left turn lane. Damage up to $25,000.
9:34 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, North Detroit Street and Lake City Highway. Drivers: Aleigha J. Puckett, 29, South CR 300E, Claypool; Jacob R. Overmyer, 33, West South Street, Argos. Puckett told police she was driving her vehicle southbound on North Detroit Street and said she did not notice her approaching stop light had turned red until it was too late. She said she applied brakes but bald tires and wet road conditions caused her vehicle to proceed into the intersection with Lake City Highway, where her vehicle struck the vehicle driven by Overmyer. Damage up to $2,500.
2:31 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 534 W. CR 300N, Warsaw. Drivers: Jennifer L. Geiger, 35, Hepler Drive, Warsaw; and Kiley A. Conwell, 26, South CR 550W, Warsaw. Conwell was traveling north on a private drive when she began to turn right. She said Geiger’s vehicle came from behind her and attempted to turn right. Geiger’s vehicle struck Conwell’s. Damage up to $5,000.
Winona Lake
Officers from the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
7:36 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, Wooster Road, east of Arbor Lane, Winona Lake. Driver: Marsha E. Barkey, 67, South Freedom Parkway, Winona Lake. Barkey told police she was driving her vehicle eastbound on Wooster Road when a deer entered the roadway. She told police she was unable to avoid hitting the deer with her vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
