Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
5:53 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, North CR 150W, north of West CR 400N, Warsaw. Driver: Jon G. Lamon, 73, North CR 150W, Warsaw. Lamon told police he was driving his vehicle northbound on CR 150W when a deer entered the roadway. He told police he was unable to avoid striking the deer with his vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
11:53 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, South CR 600E, south of East CR 350S, Pierceton. Driver: Zeb M Bays, 38, West CR 400S, South Whitley. Bays told police he was driving his vehicle southbound on CR 600E when a deer entered the roadway. He told police he was unable to avoid striking the deer with his vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
8:50 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, South SR 15, north of West CR 550S, Warsaw. Driver: Larry T. Elswick, 44, Elreno Street, Elkhart. Elswick told police he was driving his vehicle northbound on SR 15 when a deer entered the roadway. He told police he was unable to avoid striking the deer with his vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
6:11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, East CR 800N, east of North CR 620E, Syracuse. Driver: Mark A. Shirey, 60, North Aspen Drive, Warsaw. Shirey told police he was driving his vehicle eastbound on CR 800N when a deer entered the roadway. He told police he was unable to avoid striking the deer with his vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
11:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, North SR 13, south of East CR 850N, North Webster. Drivers: Trystan S. Wirebaugh, 30, North 2nd Trail, North Webster; Ronald J. Douglas, 47, Flint Creek Xing, Leo. Wirebaugh told police he was driving his vehicle southbound on SR 13 when his vehicle lost its spare tire, which crossed the center line and struck the vehicle driven by Douglas. Damage up to $2,500.
North Webster
Officers from the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
6:47 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, North SR 13, north of CR 1000N, Syracuse. Driver: Michael J. Landry, 35, CR 42, Goshen. Landry told police he was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. He told police he was unable to avoid striking the deer with his vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

Officers from the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:
10:42 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, West Bowser Road, Syracuse. Police report that a vehicle registered to Jonathan D. Wehmeyer, Wildwood Drive, Syracuse, was damaged by an unknown vehicle while parked in a parking lot. Damage up to $2,500.
4:33 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, East CR 1400N, west of North Workman Drive, Syracuse. Driver: Leah N. Desomer, 19, Oak Street, Millersburg. Desomer told police she was driving her vehicle westbound on CR 1400N when a deer entered the roadway. She told police she was unable to avoid striking the deer with her vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.
Warsaw
Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
1:35 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, Detroit Street and East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Anneris Bonilla Acosta, 22, Stonewall Court, Nappanee. Bonilla Acosta told police she was driving her vehicle on South Detroit Street and was stopped at a stop light. She said her vehicle was rear-ended by a dark colored Toyota Four Runner. She said the driver of the vehicle backed up and then passed her, leaving the scene. She got a license plate number and the vehicle is registered to Douglas C. Jones, East Lakewood Avenue, Warsaw. Damage up to $2,500.
10:59 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Harold J. Gunkel, 72, EMS B1A Lane, Leesburg. Gunkel told police he was driving his vehicle slowly through a parking lot and saw a pedestrian, Benjamin L. McKrill, 86, Country Club Road, Warsaw. Gunkel said the next thing he knew, McKrill was lying on the ground but Gunkel told police he believed McKrill walked into his vehicle. McKrill complained of knee and lower leg pain, but refused medical treatment at the scene, adding that he would have his son take him to the hospital to get checked out. Damage less than $750.
12:55 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, Lake City Highway, west of North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Richard B. Stouder, 82, West Lake Park Road, Warsaw; Hajjar Arman, 27, SW 97 TER, Miami, Fla. Stouder told police he lost concentration and struck the rear of Arman’s vehicle with the front of his vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
9:37 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, East Market Street, west of South Park Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Faith Tipsword, 25, Strong Avenue, Elkhart. Tipsword told police she was backing her vehicle out of a private driveway and struck a dumpster that she had not seen. Damage up to $2,500.
1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, East Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Robin H. Lanham, 27, Burr Street, Crown Point. Lanham told police he was backing his vehicle in the parking lot of Auto Zone when his vehicle struck an awning. Damage up to $1,000.
