NORTH WEBSTER — The North Webster Community Public Library will host a comedy event on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. Main on Main Comedy Improv Troupe is scheduled to perform in the North Webster Community Center Banquet Hall. More entertainment is available at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, at a movie matinee for adults. The library will show a 1984 musical drama about a Chicago teen who moves to a small town where rock music and dancing are banned. The movie is rated PG and runs 107 minutes.

The Bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, in the North Webster Community Center. The free samples will be served Nov. 1, starting at 11 a.m. until gone. Cookie mixes will also be available for sale at the bazaar. Proceeds from the Friends of the Library sale go to support the work of the library.
Contributing author Mark Howe will be at the library 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1 to sign copies of the latest “Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Wonder of Christmas.” Howe’s story is featured, among others, in this new holiday book. Copies will be available to purchase.
