Free Museum Day Announced By Nappanee Library
NAPPANEE — Nappanee Public Library has announced that the Elkhart County Museum Association is offering a Free Museum Day to Elkhart County residents, giving those attendees an opportunity to see what great things there are to do, see, and experience in their own back yard. Nappanee On Fire — Nov. 3, 10 to 11 a.m. (all ages)
Patrons are invited to join the library at the Nappanee Center to learn about the Nappanee Fire Department and the fires that have left their marks on the town. No registration is necessary.
Blending In — Nov. 3, 3 to 4:30 p.m. (teens and adults)
Blending In is a group for high functioning autistic teens and other unique teens seeking to meet others in a safe, laid-back, positive environment. Teens and parents are invited. Registration is required. Call Cami for more information at (574) 333-6201 or to register.
Rock Band — Nov. 6, 4 to 5 p.m. (teens)
Rock Band is coming to The Cube. Rock Band offers the unique social play of a full band experience—featuring a next-gen microphone, wireless drums and a guitar. Attendees can add their personal signature to every performance with a sound track featuring some of the world’s best hits. No registration is necessary.
Alzheimer’s and Dementia Caregiver Support Group — Nov. 6, 6 to 8:30 p.m. (adults)
Attendees will meet together for information, sharing, and support with others who are caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s or Dementia. No registration is necessary.
Elkhart County SWCD Augmented Reality Sandbox — Nov. 7, 10 a.m. to noon (all ages)
Elkhart County Soil and Water Conservation District will be in the library to talk about the Augmented Reality Sandbox. Registration is required by Oct. 31.
The Young And Restless — Nov. 9, 10 to 10:30 a.m. (infants and todders)
This program includes a story time created for babies, toddlers, and caregivers. There will be bubbles, dancing, music, and stories. Parents or caregivers can bring a blanket or play mat. Register by calling (574) 773-7919 or visit nappaneelibrary.org.
