George Elliott, 63, Mentone, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, in Fort Wayne’s Lutheran Hospital.
Born George Edward Elliott in Prestonsburg, Ky., he was the son of James and Alvie (Ousley) Elliott and was one of four children raised in the family home. Moving from Kentucky in 1959, the family settled in Kosciusko County where he had worked at Biomet as a machinist. He retired approximately eight years ago.
Mr. Elliott loved to hunt and fish; he loved being outdoors. He enjoyed country music and pranks, picking on those he liked. He was also kind hearted and a good friend. He was willing to help a friend in need.
Friends may join family at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw, for a time of visitation from 9-11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 24. A life celebration will begin at 11 a.m., officiated by certified Funeral Celebrant, Sharon Brockhaus. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
