Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
4:34 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, North CR 100E, south of East CR 450N, Warsaw. Driver: Evelyn Fraley, 69, CR 250E, Warsaw. Fraley was driving her vehicle when an unknown vehicle drove left of center and clipped her vehicle’s mirror. No vehicle description was provided in the accident report. Damages up to $2,500.
3:22 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, South SR 13 and Old Road 13, Pierceton. Driver: Richard Reynolds, 30, Packerton Road, Claypool. Reynolds’ vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. Damages up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
6:24 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, SR 15, north of Ford Lane. Driver: Daren Ransbottom, 29, CR 600E, Roann. Ransbottom’s vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. Damages up to $2,500.
4:52 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, East Smith and South McClellan streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Alexis Gerkin, 21, Widaman Street, Winona Lake; and Caitlin Sautter, 31, Country Club Road, Warsaw. Gerkin started to slow down her vehicle but stated her foot slipped from the brake pedal, causing her vehicle to rear-end Sautter’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
3:12 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, Logan and Prairie streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Alexis Hughes, 16, Poplar Street, Warsaw; and Makayla Nellis, 17, Lantern Road, Warsaw. Nellis started to turn onto Prairie Street but slowed down for another vehicle, causing Hughes’ vehicle to rear-end Nellis’ vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
