Monroe Township Board And Trustee Face Uncontested Fall Election
KOSCIUSKO — The Monroe Township Advisory Board members and Township Trustee face no competition in the fall election. Republican candidates for the Advisory Board include Donald L. Ellison, Sonya Hathaway, and Patrick Landrigan. Republican Stephanie Cloud is running unopposed for the position of Monroe Township Trustee.
Donald L. Ellison
Ellison previously served on the Monroe Township Advisory Board from 2003 to 2010. He has been a member of the Sidney-Jackson Township Fire Department for 28 years and has also worked as a medical first responder for 20 years.
He and his wife live on Ellison’s family farm. They have two children.
Ellison said he is looking forward to continuing his work with Cloud, the new Monroe Township Trustee.
Sonya Hathaway
Hathaway has been on the Monroe Township Advisory Board for several years.
“We board members will continue to work with the township’s new trustee [Stephanie Cloud] to keep the township great,” said Hathaway.

Patrick Landrigan
Landrigan grew up in Warsaw and currently resides in Pierceton. He and his wife Brenda have five sons.
Landrigan has served on church boards and has also been involved in leadership positions through Cub Scouts.
“I enjoy helping out the community,” said Landrigan.

Stephanie Cloud
Cloud was appointed as Monroe Township Trustee in March 2018, taking over for Josh Spangle. Spangle resigned from the position due to moving out of the district.
She has lived in the Pierceton area her entire life. Her father, Dean Rhoades, has been the Washington Township Trustee for several years. Cloud works as the creative arts coordinator at Warsaw Community Church.
“There will always be a need for people to have assistance from the township,” said Cloud. “The board and I will continue working to help others by making sure all the work we do is for the good of the township.”
