Todd Aaron Skeans
Todd Aaron Skeans, 44, Warsaw, passed away after courageously battling a long illness at 6:52 p.m., Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, in Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne. He was born Dec. 21, 1973, in Warsaw, to Jerry G. and Janice R. (Kelm) Skeans; who both survive.
He was a Warsaw Community High School graduate, class of 1992. He earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indiana Institute of Technology. He worked in concrete most of his life and was a Master Finisher. He was a member of the Plasterers and Cement Masons Local Union 692. In addition, he enjoyed working on cars, playing games with his family and was the undisputed Scrabble champion, visiting with friends, and working outside especially in the garden. Most of all he loved his family dearly and enjoyed all the time spent together with his family and friends.
Mr. Skeans will be lovingly remembered by his children: Sara, Jessica, and Michael Skeans, all of Warsaw; the mother of his children; Becky (Jeff) Smith; his brothers and sisters; Jesse (companion Christy) Skeans, Jordan (Chelsea) Skeans, Rachel Skeans, Jill (spouse Chad) Peterson; grandmothers: Donna Kelm and Rebecca Skeans, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by two grandfathers: Ordell Kelm and Ted Skeans Sr.
Visitation will be held from noon-2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 21, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will follow immediately after at 2 p.m., in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Chaplain Bob Jarboe will officiate the Funeral Service. Interment will be private.
