Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
7:27 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, East CR 200N, east of Husky Trail, Warsaw. Driver: Mark A. Hile, 56, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Hile was traveling east on CR 200N when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
1:15 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, US 30, west of SR 15, Warsaw. Driver: Dennis Latty, 47, Harrison Way, Springville, Ala. Latty was traveling east on Lake City Highway when his vehicle struck a spare tire that was laying in his vehicle’s travel lane. Damage up to $2,500.
3:40 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, Dubois Drive, near Provident Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Judy Longenecker, 69, County Road 126, Elkhart. Longenecker was traveling south on Provident Drive when she ran over the curbed barrier in an intersection and ran over a “Do Not Enter” sign. Damage up to $25,000.
1:01 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, Argonne Road, near East Jefferson Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Vironnica J. Ceah Drake, 20, South Boots Street, Marion; and Ray F. Egolf, 74, North Colfax Street, Warsaw. Ceah Drake was traveling north on Argonne Road when she rear-ended Egolf’s vehicle. A passenger in Egolf’s vehicle, Steve R. Justice, 60, Pierceton, advised of heart discomfort on scene. Damage up to $5,000.
