North Webster Community Public Library Announces Upcoming Events
NORTH WEBSTER — North Webster Community Public Library has completed its Jean Lynch obituary project and has made it available for public use on the library’s website at www.nweb.lib.in.us.
This collection of over 35,000 obituaries was originally gathered by the late Jean Lynch of Leesburg from newspaper clippings from across northern Indiana and dating back to the 1950s. It took over six years, countless staff hours and many volunteers to scan and index these obituaries into an online searchable database. User-friendly, the database will aid genealogists and local historians.
