Curtis Lee Dotson
Curtis Lee Dotson, 73, Ligonier, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, at Goshen Hospital in Goshen. He was born on March 23, 1945, in Clintwood, Va. to Melburn and Ada (Elkins) Dotson.
On Feb. 4, 1977, he married Cindy Mae Stribling in Virginia; she survives.
Dotson is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Dotson of Ligonier; siblings, Denver Dotson, Virginia Hicks and Sandra Goodwin. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Junior Dotson, Pauline Mullins, Marie Mullins, Pamera Dotson, Bobby Dotson and Bernice Willowby.
Mr. Dotson was a man of many talents. He worked for many years at All Metal as a machine cut off operator and at George McDonald Company and the Indiana Wood company as well. He served his country honorably from 1965-1968 in the United States Army. His favorite thing to do was to keep company with family and friends. The time that he spent alone was creating things out of wood. He will truly be missed by so many that knew him.
A memorial service in his honor will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at Yeager Funeral Home- 1589 Lincolnway South Ligonier, IN 46767.
