CLAYPOOL — Seth Allen, 29, Claypool, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Jon E. DeGuilio, after pleading guilty to possessing a firearm after having been convicted of a felony, announced U.S. Attorney Kirsch.
The court imposed a sentence of 100 months incarceration and one year of supervised release.
According to documents in the case, on Jan. 3, Allen possessed and sold an Intratec model Tec-DC9, nine-millimeter Luger semi-automatic pistol to another individual. Allen had previously been convicted of a felony and has had multiple other criminal convictions since turning 18 years old.
This case was investigated by ATF with assistance from the Warsaw Police Department and prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Jesse Barrett.
