Voter Registration Ends Tonight, Early Voting Begins Wednesday
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — If you want to have a say in the Nov. 6 midterm election, residents need to register before 11:59 p.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 9.
Early voting will begin at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10.
Voters registering in the county clerk’s office must do so by the close of business, which is 4:30 p.m. or at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles by the close of its business hours. Voters registering online through www.indianavoters.com, must have the application submitted online by 11:59 p.m.
In addition to registration, the Indiana Voters app allows Hoosiers to look up their polling place, get directions to their polling location, find out who’s on their ballot, track their absentee ballot application or provisional ballot information and contact local election officials.
In order to be eligible to register to vote, you must:
• Be a citizen of the United States,
• Be at least 18 years old by Election Day,
• Have lived in your precinct for at least 30 days before the election; and
• Not currently be imprisoned after being convicted of a crime.
“I urge all Hoosiers to exercise their right to vote,” said Secretary Lawson. “It only takes a few minutes to register and can be done online at any time.”

Early Voting Begins
For those who have registered to vote and wish to vote early or file an absentee vote can begin doing so at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10. Hours for early voting in Kosciusko County will be from 8 to 11 a.m. and noon to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the clerk’s office in the Kosciusko County Justice Building, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw.
Individuals can also vote from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 and Nov. 3. Early voting ends Monday, Nov. 5. Additionally the last day to submit an application to receive an absentee ballot by mail is Oct. 29.
