Warsaw Schools Win NELMSC XC Meet
SYRACUSE – Lakeview’s boys and Edgewood’s girls won the Northeast Lakes Middle School Conference cross country titles Tuesday in the conference meet held at Wawasee Middle School.
Lakeview ran away with the boys title, scoring 38 points to Lincoln’s 57 points, with Edgewood at 60 points, Wawasee at 67 points and Bremen at 129 points. Edward Robison won the boys race for Lakeview, with teammates Garrett Hall in fourth and Bryce Duncan in ninth place.
The girls had both Edgewood and Lakeview tie with 39 points, Edgewood winning the championship on fifth-man score. Bremen was third at 66 points, Lincoln at 89 points and Wawasee with 141 points. Lakeview had the top three runners in the girls race, with Mikayla Mimnaugh the champion and Rylee Burns and Josefina Rastrelli right behind.
