Pilgrims Trip Up Trojans
PLYMOUTH – Triton wasn’t able to keep up with a powerful Plymouth volleyball side Wednesday in a 3-0 loss.
Plymouth started out red hot and didn’t let Triton creep back in it, winning 25-11, 25-13, 25-19.
The Trojans, playing on back-to-back nights after a 3-0 loss at home to Pioneer Tuesday, had Alyxa Viers play well with 11 digs and five kills. Lexia Hostrawser had nine kills and two solo blocks and Molly McFarland added nine digs. Dylanie Miller and Emma Hepler combined for 14 assists.
Plymouth moves to 19-7 overall and look to wrap up the Northern Lakes Conference championship, currently sitting at 5-0 overall. The Pilgrims visit Goshen Thursday and host Northridge next week in its aim for a conference title.
Triton drops to 4-18 overall and will look to this weekend’s competitive Dunes Tourney in LaPorte.
