Rosemary D. Turner
Rosemary D. Turner, 93, Fort Wayne, passed away at 7:25 a.m., in Lutheran Life Villages, Fort Wayne, Friday, Sept. 21, 2018. She was born March 19, 1925, in Fort Wayne, to Henry and Fern Louise (Lindsay) DeFravel.
She was united in marriage to William Turner on July 10, 1945, in Fort Wayne at Baer Field Army Air Corps Barracks. He preceded her April 10, 2010.
She was a homemaker and a former Operator for General Telephone. Her memberships include; Trinity English Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne and American Legion Post #296 Auxiliary of Fort Wayne.
Survivors include her sons Robert “Bob” (Julie) Turner, Warsaw; and John (Pam) Turner, Elburn, Ill. In addition, grandchildren April (Brandon) Aylor and Aaron (Abby) Turner, both of Warsaw and great grandchildren Addisyn and Aiden Aylor, and Reese, Quinn and Cruz Turner survive.
Visitation hours are scheduled from noon-1 p.m., in Lutheran Life Villages, 6701 S. Anthony Street, Fort Wayne, Wednesday, Sept. 26. Rosemary Turner’s funeral service will immediately follow calling hours at the Villages, with Reverend Dr. Kathleen Haller officiating. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements. Private interment will follow in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
