Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
5:50 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, South SR 19, south of West CR 500S, Mentone. Driver: Sally Montelongo, 50, South SR 19, Akron. Montelongo was traveling north on SR 19 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $10,000.
10:39 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 9640 N. CR 300E, Milford. Driver: Adam G. Glandon, 26, Doe Street, Warsaw. Glandon was making a left turn when a bee flew into his vehicle. As he attempted to swat the bee, his vehicle crashed into a parked, unoccupied pickup truck. The owner of the parked vehicle was contacted by Glandon. Damage up to $10,000.
Milford
Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:
4:24 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, South Main Street, south of West Section Street, Milford. Drivers: Christopher L. Johnson, 40, South Union Street, Warsaw; and Caleb L. Froebe, 29, Lynne Lane North A, Elkhart. Johnson was backing out of a driveway when he backed into Froebe’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:24 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, Anchorage Road, west of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Zachery J. Handshoe, 27, East CR 850S, Claypool; and Curtis R. O’Neil, 42, Raleigh Court, Columbia City. Handshoe was traveling west on Anchorage Road when he rear-ended O’Neil’s vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.
