William ‘Bill’ Anthony Priser
William “Bill” Anthony Priser of Warsaw, passed away at 2:42 p.m. on Friday, Sept.r 21, 2018, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw at the age of 73.
He was born March 23, 1945, in Warsaw, to Ralph G. Priser and Mary Margaret (Fairbanks) Priser.
He was a 1963 graduate of Claypool High School and was inducted into the U.S. Army on Nov. 8, 1967, serving in Vietnam until his honorable discharge on Nov. 7, 1969. He worked at R.R. Donnelley and Sons in Warsaw and C.S.X, as well as working construction on the side. He was a member of the American Legion Post #49 of Warsaw and will be missed by his family and friends.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter: Londa (John) Priser Lewis, Mentone; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his two brothers: James (Michele) Priser, Claypool; Lawrence Priser, Clunette; and his sister: Mary Mason, Syracuse. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law, Marjorie Priser and his brother-in-law, Jack Mason
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home and will be officiated by Chaplain Roy Blake. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw in the John C. Peterson Post 49 American Legion Circle. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 49, V.F.W. #1126 both of Warsaw and active members of the Army Honor Guard.
