WINONA LAKE — A Winona Lake man faces drug charges after police were called to his home to respond to a possible overdose.

Police say that officers with the Winona Lake Police Department were called to respond to a possible drug overdose on Aug. 26.
According to the report, Click’s mother told officers that her daughter-in-law texted her a photo of Click passed out on the floor. Police said the entrance door to Click’s apartment was locked and no one would answer, so officers breached the door, fearing for Click’s life.
When they entered the apartment, police caught Click in the bathroom attempting to flush some pills down the toilet. Police escorted Click to a couch. On the bathroom floor, police found two plastic bags with powder residue and retrieved pills later identified as Xanax floating in the toilet.
Police questioned Click’s wife, who told officers that Click uses heroin and Xanax on a daily basis.
