CONCORD 24, WAWASEE 34; WAWASEE 20, GOSHEN 39; CONCORD 17, GOSHEN 44
Wawasee’s girls cross country team split a Northern Lakes Conference three-way Tuesday, beating Goshen but falling short of Concord on the road at Goshen.
Kenzie Smith, Emma Ebright and Bailey Mayhew finished in order in third through fifth places with times of 21:07, 22:27 and 22:46. Lily Tyler placed 12th with a time of 23:50, and Kaitlin VanFleeren was 15th in 24:34 for the Lady Warriors, who closed out the NLC round robin at 1-6.
Wawasee travels to the New Haven Invitational on Saturday.

Wawasee’s boys lost both legs of their NLC triangular in Goshen Tuesday.
Spencer Hare set the Warriors’ pace in 17:15 for third place. Michael Hammer placed seventh in 18:11, Jace Alexander was ninth in 18:21, Luke Griner was 14th in 18:30, and Thomas Conley was 17th in 18:42.
Wawasee closes NLC round robin racing at 2-5.
The Warriors travel to the New Haven Invite Saturday.
NORTHWOOD 25, PLYMOUTH 36
NorthWood’s girls cross country team outpaced host Plymouth 25-36 Tuesday.
Jennifer Martinez paced the Panthers to victory over Plymouth by running 22:25 and finishing third. Hannah Brubaker, Laura Schrock, Emilie Allen, and Kaitlin Burden rounded out the scoring five for NorthWood.
