Kosciusko CROP Hunger Walk Takes Place Sept. 30
KOSCIUSKO — The 34th annual Kosciusko CROP Hunger Walk will be held on Sunday, Sept. 30, at The Salvation Army, 501 E. Arthur St., Warsaw.
Two walk routes are available with the longest being around 5K, including the Beyer Farm Trail. Registration is at 1 p.m. and the walk begins after a time of prayer at 1:30 p.m.
Walkers are encouraged to get pledges to support Church World Service to address hunger around the world and The Salvation Army “Choice Pantry” that serves families and individuals in need in Kosciusko County. Persons may register online.
Records for the walk only go back to 1984 but this event has occurred in Warsaw since the early 1970s.
