Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
4:07 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, South SR 15, near South Rosewood Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Blake K. Luecke, 36, South Packerton Road, Warsaw; and Catherine G. Cooke, 46, Durham Court, Winona Lake. Luecke was traveling north on SR 15 when Cooke began to turn east onto Rosewood Drive. Luecke swerved his vehicle to the right, striking Cooke’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
1:31 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, South SR 13, south of SR 14, Sidney. Drivers: Loren W. Raschke, 75, East Division Road, Lagro; and Margaret Beerbower, 54, Forest Drive, Fishers. Raschke was traveling south on SR 13 when he failed to stop at a four way stop at an intersection. This caused his vehicle to rear-end Beerbower’s vehicle. Raschke was checked on scene by medics and then transferred to Kosciusko Community Hospital for further evaluation. Damage up to $25,000.
9:20 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, 3456 E. CR 100N, Warsaw. Driver: Victoria S. Rutledge, 59, East CR 200N, Warsaw. Rutledge was traveling east on CR 100N when her vehicle left the roadway and came to a rest in a soybean field owned by Jeff Fawley, Warsaw. A passenger in Rutledge’s vehicle, Clarke T. Rutledge, 57, Warsaw, sustained an injury to his right hand and a puncture wound to his chest. Damage up to $10,000.
11:50 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, North CR 300E, south of EMS T33 Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Roger P. Burger, 20, County Road 25, Syracuse. Burger was traveling south on CR 300E when his vehicle went off the roadway and struck a road sign. Damage up to $5,000.
7:42 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, North Turkey Creek Road, south of East CR 1000N, Syracuse. Drivers: Madison R. Ingersdoll, 17, Orange Grove, New Iseria, La.; and Erin R. Crone, 23, Rosebay Drive, Indianapolis. Crone was turning east on CR 1000N when Ingersdoll’s vehicle rear-ended her. Damage up to $5,000.
7:59 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, East Old Road 30, near South Hunters Ridge, Warsaw. Driver: Keryn M. Konkle, 17, Fisher Avenue, Warsaw. Konkle was traveling east on Old Road 30 when his vehicle went off the roadway and struck a stop sign. Damage up to $1,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
3:49 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, West Market Street, north of South Washington Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Kathleen C. Workman, 78, Oriole Drive, Warsaw; and Yvonne M. Beach, 57, West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Workman was traveling south on South Washington Street when she pulled out in front of Beach’s vehicle. Workman was treated at the scene by Lutheran EMS and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damage up to $10,000.
