WARSAW 37, NORTHRIDGE 14
Warsaw continued to play with momentum, picking up a big win in Middlebury Friday night.
Ridge held a 14-0 lead into the second quarter, but suffered a crushing blow when quarterback Julius Graber was injured and did not return. The all-everything signal caller had rushed for 60 yards and threw for 59 and accounted for both scores, a five-yard run and a 33-yard pass to Breckin Judd.
With Graber out of the game, Ridge only mustered 51 yards the rest of the way. And the Tigers found its mojo on the way.
Kane Dawson broke off two touchdown runs of 41 and two yards to get the Tigers back to even, and added a 30-yarder in the third quarter as Warsaw went up two scores. Josh West added a one-yard plunge with just 36 seconds left in the half to give Warsaw a lead that it wouldn’t relinquish.
Bryce Garner added a one-yard touchdown run and Harrison Mevis added a 40-yard field goal.
Warsaw managed to win the game in spite of passing for zero yards, but gained 295 yards on the ground on 55 carries. Dawson had 157 of the yards and Juan Jaramillo added 72 yards on seven carries.
Warsaw moves to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the NLC while Ridge sits at 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the NLC. The Tigers host Goshen next week while Northridge has to visit NorthWood.
TRITON 35, CULVER 21

Bo Snyder went 7 for 13 passing for 183 yards and three touchdowns, and Delano Shumpert finished with 114 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the win for Triton (3-2, 2-1 HNAC). The Trojans rushed for just 58 yards compared to 245 by the Cavaliers (1-4, 0-3 HNAC) and were out-gained 254-241 in total offensive yards . They also gave up three turnovers — two interceptions and one lost fumble — but the Cavaliers surrendered four fumbles in the loss.
Triton trailed briefly following Culver’s second touchdown of the night, an 8-yard run by quarterback Donavan Ziaja in the second quarter, but retook the lead on a 3-yard TD connection from Snyder to Tye Orsund and stayed out front the rest of the way.
Culver fullback Zac Ditmire rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns in 32 carries for Culver. Orsund hauled in three catches for 57 yards, and Hunter McIntyre led Triton on the ground with 36 rushing yards.
