Niles Scream Park Set To Open This Friday
NILES, MICH. — The Niles Scream Park is getting ready to open for the 2018 season.
Park officials held a media night to show off some of its attractions, along with an ice cream social.
Some of the frights you’ll see this year include the field of screams, the doll factory, Grimm’s funeral services and lots more.
Workers at the park couldn’t be more excited.
“We’re just thrilled that it’s finally this time of year,” manager Matt Herm said. “As soon as Halloween hits, we’re actually planning for next year and counting down the days till the next year.”
And that planning is all about enhancing the experience for the following year.
“All offseason, we’re constantly building, adding new scares so that we’re enhancing the attractions,” Herm continued. “We have something that’s for everybody; it’s not just one demographic. If you like Halloween at all, you’ll find something you like here, even if it’s just the fall festival and you want to sit down on the hay bail and enjoy some concession food.”
The park officially opens for business Friday, Sept. 14, and will be open from 8-11 p.m. in September and from 7-11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays in October.
It will also be open from 7-10 p.m. every Monday next month.
