WCS Launches New Parent Communication App
WARSAW — To make sure school corporation patrons receive school news and alerts in ways that work best for them, Warsaw Community Schools is launching a new communications app.
Parents can sign up for the free SchoolMessenger app today to set communications preferences for calls, emails and texts, as well as for receiving all kinds of school messages, such as classroom and group updates, activity alerts and school and district notifications. Users can review messages on any device, including smartphones and laptops.
Interested school corporation patrons can go to http://go.schoolmessenger.com to download the SchoolMessenger mobile app for Apple and Android devices, or use the web-based version from an internet browser.
With the new SchoolMessenger app, parents and community members have around-the-clock, year-round access to important school notifications, such as weather and emergency alerts.
In addition, the app can allow teachers and parents to directly communicate with each other, individually or in groups, all from within the same app.
