George A. Lantz
George A. Lantz, 88, Milford, passed away at 8:13 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 3, 2018, at Mason Health & Rehab in Warsaw. He was born on April 26, 1930, in Millersburg to Guy A. and Mina M. (Willard) Lantz.
He attended New Paris High School, was a United States Army veteran, and was married on June 4, 1950, in Goshen to Shirley A. Breniser, who preceded him on Nov. 28, 2000. He was a self-employed bricklayer, lived in Elkhart County until 1957, and then moved to Milford from Dunlap.
He formerly attended Warsaw Missionary Church.
He is survived by his two daughters: Robyn (Dave) Severance, Mishawaka; Pamela (Brad) Eldridge, Mishawaka; one son, Michael Lantz, Milford; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, daughter, Debra Lantz, four sisters: Helen Whitehead, Lucille Sherman, Mildred Coy and Lois Stouder; and a brother, Donald Lantz.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 8, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Bollenbacher officiating. Burial will follow in the Milford Cemetery.
