Levi S. Chupp
Levi S. Chupp, 85, Etna Green, died at 9:40 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at his residence. He was born May 31, 1933, in Nappanee to Samuel C. and Amanda (Borkholder) Chupp. On Sept. 26, 1963, he married Mary J. Yoder.
He was a lifetime area resident. He worked at Holiday Rambler and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary J. Chupp; children, Lyle (Mary) Chupp, and Merle (Kathy) Chupp, both of Etna Green, Norman (Margaret) Chupp, Nappanee, Lee Alan (Carolyn) Chupp, Etna Green, John Chupp, at home, Vera Chupp, Millersburg, OH, Rosetta Chupp, at home, Marlin (Rebecca) Chupp, and Paul (Maria) Chupp, both of Nappanee; 32 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sisters, Anna Byler, Nappanee, Verna Bontrager and Elizabeth (Ralph) Miller, both of Goshen, Barbara Burkholder, Nappanee; sisters-in-law, Esther Chupp and Alma Stutzman, both of Nappanee. He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Chupp; granddaughters, Julia, Martha and Ruth Chupp; brothers, Joe, Eli, Emanuel, John, and Jacob Chupp; and sisters, Amanda Chupp, Mattie Hershberger, Lydian Chupp, and Katie Burkholder.
Family and friends may call all day Thursday, Aug. 30, and Friday, Aug. 31, at the Levi Chupp home (10181 W. 900 N., Etna Green). Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Arden Schwartz Residence (8145 N. St. Rd. 19). Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate and burial will be in Graber Cemetery.
