UPDATE — One Injured In Friday Motorcycle Accident

One was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital after a two-vehicle accident that occurred on Friday, Aug. 24, in Warsaw.
WARSAW — One person was transported by ambulance after a two-vehicle accident on North Colfax Street, near East Sheridan Street, Warsaw.
At approximately 2:28 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle accident involving a motorcycle.
The crash involved a 2004 Ford SUV, operated by Jerald J. Womack, 56, Warsaw; and a 2015 Honda CMX motorcycle, operated by Markinia A. Gooden, 35, Warsaw.
Womack was traveling south on North Colfax Street when he stopped at the intersection of East Sheridan Street. He didn’t see Gooden’s vehicle as he pulled into the intersection. Gooden was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital by Lutheran EMS to be treated for injuries sustained during the crash.
Gooden sustained a fracture dislocation to his shoulder and upper arm.
Damages are estimated at up to $10,000.
