WARSAW FRESHMEN 50, COLUMBIA CITY 16
Daniel Lopez opened the game with a kick-off return for a touchdown, and Warsaw didn’t look back in a lopsided freshman game at Fisher Field.
Sammy Smith, Julius Jones and Lucas Wrenn added scores for the Tigers.
Lopez led the Warsaw defense, along with standout play from Jackson Bradley, Dane Koontz, Cam Fairchild and Luke Anderson.
Warsaw (2-0) will take on East Noble next Thursday.
LAKEVIEW EIGHTH GRADE 14, LINCOLN 6
German Flores and Kyle Schnackenberg each rushed for touchdowns and Flores provided a two-point conversion to help Lakeview to the win. Tucker Curtis had a key interception in the victory.
LAKEVIEW SEVENTH GRADE 8, LINCOLN 6
Jack Hill highlighted Lakeview with 50 yards rushing and a score while Kaden Long added 30 yards on the ground and a two-point conversion. Quintan Maahs added 85 rushing yards for Lakeview on offense while Long, Gideon Castro and Julian Saldivar all recovered fumbles on the defensive side.
Lakeview will take on Huntington Crestview on Monday.
