Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 8:06 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, 8200 block of East US 30, Pierceton. Police responded to the John Young residence to investigate a theft. Taken were hand and power tools. Value: $800.
- 7:12 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, 6900 block of North Hoss Hill Road, North Webster. Police responded to the James Cramsie residence to investigate a broken window.
- 4:49 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, 1300 block of Rivercrest Drive, Warsaw. Police responded to the Tara Bradley residence to investigate a burglary and harassment complaint.
- 6:20 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 300 block of East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Police responded to the Cheryl Bradley residence to investigate a theft. Taken was a flat screen television. Value: $300.
- 1:26 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 900 block of West CR 400N, Warsaw. Police responded to the Nick Deeter residence to investigate a burglary. Taken watches, cash, firearms and ammunition. Value: $97,400.
- 7:35 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 9000 block of East Backwater Road, North Webster. Police responded to the David Silliman residence to investigate the theft of a 14-foot aluminum boat. Value: $200.
- 6:05 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 1400 block of Rivercrest Drive, Warsaw. Police responded to the Bryan Moriarty residence to investigate an attempted burglary. A screen door lock was damaged but no entry made.
- 4:02 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2200 block of South Cost-A-Plenty Road, Warsaw. Police responded to the Heather Short residence to investigate the theft of a package from the porch of the residence that was an online order.
- 3:08 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 100 block of EMS W19 Lane, North Webster. Police responded to the Kenneth Gunkel residence to investigate a theft from a storage building. Police said a lock was cut and several boxes of property were taken along with a welder.
- 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 100 block of EMS T26 Lane, Leesburg. Police responded to the Kerry Rookstool residence to investigate the theft of marine batteries. Value: $700.
- 8:51 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2600 block of Brookfield Circle, Warsaw. Police responded to the Sara Frush residence to investigate a residential entry. Taken were clothes and furs. Value: $200.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 4:04 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, East Esterbrook Drive, North Webster. Police responded to the Donald Kauffman residence to investigate a theft. A cell phone was taken.
- 1:38 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 100 block of EMS W19 Lane, North Webster. Police responded to the Kenneth Gunkel residence to investigate a theft from a storage unit. Taken were jewelry and precious metals, power and hand tools, recording and audio visual equipment, a generator and miscellaneous items. Value: $3,150.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 7:56 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, 1200 block of East Smith Street, Warsaw. Police responded to Bussard’s Automotive to investigate the shooting out of a window at the business.
- 11:05 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, 2600 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. Police responded to the Shane Hallstrom residence to investigate a stolen vehicle. Taken was a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix. Value: $1,200.
- 11:05 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, 1200 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. Police responded to the Zachary Erba residence to investigate a theft. Taken was a Trek bicycle. Value: $1,800.
- 3:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 3600 block of Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Police responded to Big R to investigate a theft. Taken were miscellaneous food items, tools and other miscellaneous items. Value: $63.92.
- 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 1000 block of East Smith Street/Fairlane Drive, Warsaw. Police investigated damage to city property.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 2:40 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, 400 block of Wooster Road, Winona Lake. Police responded to a report from Audry Schroder of damage to a vehicle.
