Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following accident:
3:48 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, North SR 15, north of West CR 400N, Warsaw. Driver: Bailey A. Stiver, 20, CR 150E, Warsaw. Stiver told police he was driving his vehicle northbound on SR 15 when he fell asleep at the wheel, causing his vehicle to leave the roadway. The vehicle struck a utility pole. Damage up to $25,000.

Officers from the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:
8:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, South Harrison Street and East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jason C. Nichols, 45, East Old Road 30, Warsaw; Phyllis M. Davis, 74, South County Farm Road, Warsaw. Nichols told police he was driving his vehicle on Harrison Street and was stopped. He began to back his vehicle and did not see the vehicle driven by Davis. Damage up to $5,000.
6:32 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, US 30 and Silveus Crossing, Warsaw. Drivers: Zachery M. Condon, 25, Runaway Bay Circle, Mishawaka; Thomas M. Donnelly, 60, Walcott Avenue, Jackson, Mich. Condon told police he was driving his vehicle westbound on US 30 and was passing Donnelly’s vehicle when he got too close and struck Donnelly’s vehicle with his. Damage up to $5,000.
1:24 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, West US 30, west of Silveus Crossing, Warsaw. Drivers: Patrick E. Howdeshell, 53, South CR 100W, Rochester; Spencer D. Johnson, 19, Apple Road, Bourbon. Johnson told police he was driving his vehicle and rear-ended the semi tractor-trailer driven by Howdeshell. Howdeshell did not realize his vehicle was hit and learned of the incident later, calling police as soon as he was informed. Damage up to $5,000.
