WARSAW 137, WABASH 142, TIPPECANOE VALLEY NS
Warsaw’s girls golf team topped a three-way field at Honeywell Thursday, shooting a 137 ahead of Wabash’s 142, while Tippecanoe Valley was unable to field a complete team.
Grayson Kilburn and Izzy Ray both turned in 44s, Miriam Hagg and Julie Hildebrand shot a pair of 49s, and Maddie Ray carded a 50 for the Lady Tigers.
Chaney Canada posted a 72 for Valley, ahead of teammate Sara Kelly’s 82.
Leading Wabash was Bella Carrillo with a meet-low 39. Lindsey Mattern followed with a 50, Annie Cole carded 53, and Halle Miller turned in a 54.
Warsaw’s JV was paced by Marie Frazzetta’s personal-best 48. Anna Morgan shot 51, followed by Delaney Byron’s 54.
Warsaw’s varsity moves to 6-1.
The Tigers host a home invite at Rozella-Ford Saturday, starting at 1 p.m.
Valley travels to Roundbarn for the Rochester Invitational Saturday .
WHITKO 214, TRITON 214, SOUTHERN WELLS 218
Whitko’s girls golf team beat Triton on a fifth-score tiebreak as the Lady Trojans only fielded four golfers, and both teams beat Southern Wells Thursday evening.
Bailey Wright shot 48 for Whitko, while Summer West and Guinny Garr both shot 54, and Gus Carr finished with a 58 for the Wildcats.
Lakeland Christian’s Abigail Fishel, playing alone at the three-way meet, carded a 45 for low-medalist honors.
Delanie Groves and Maddie Richison posted a pair of 52s for the Trojans, Samantha Edington turned in a 54, and Alysha May shot 56.
