Girls Golf Results: Aug. 14
NORTHWOOD 166, NORTHRIDGE 166, FAIRFIELD 214, WESTVIEW NS
NorthWood and Northridge both carded 166, but Kirsten Schrock’s 46 beat out Sophie Hollinger’s 47, and the Lady Panthers won on a fifth score tiebreak in a four-way meet Tuesday.
‘Wood’s Cybil Stillson and Ridge’s Braedyn O’Dell tied for low medalist honors with a pair of 38s. MacKenzie Weaver shot 41 for NorthWood, while Delaney Davis turned in a 43, and Abby Slabaugh posted a 44.
Alayna Frey shot 41, Juliana Weaver shot 42, and Ashley Brewster carded 45 for the Raiders at the meeting, which was considered a non-Northern Lakes Conference match.
Jalee Nunemaker led Fairfield, which finished with a team score of 214, with a 46.
The JV Panthers won their three-way as the only team to post a score, meanwhile. Makena Gall and Breanna Goss carded 42 and 43, respectively. Kylee Gall shot 50, and Abigail Richner shot 52 for NorthWood’s JV.
NorthWood’s varsity moves to 3-0.
WAWASEE 184, WEST NOBLE 201
Wawasee’s girls golf team collected a win over West Noble Tuesday, 184-201.
Four Lady Warriors shot in the 40s a second straight meet led by Belle Brunner’s 42. Valerie Haessig posted a 46, and Jadison Rostochak and Tate Cowan both carded 48. Taylor Cripe shot 51.
Hannah Godfrey went low for West Noble with a 38 on Wawasee’s home course at Maxwelton. Natalie Halferty carded 51, Audrey Fulford and Katie Coplin both shot 56, and Amelia Shull turned in a 63.
Wawasee moves to 5-2 with the win and will play next at the Rochester Invitational Saturday.
