SYRACUSE — Tuesday, Aug. 14, was the day for teachers and staff of the Wawasee Community School Corporation to gather for breakfast and a meeting prior to the start of the 2018-19 school year. The gathering was held in the cafeteria of Wawasee High School.
After the meeting, teachers and staff were dismissed to return to their buildings to prepare for the new school year. The first day of classes for students is Wednesday, Aug. 15.
A total of 20 are new staff members to the school corporation this year.
